Land Walk

Land walk such a simple term but the depth within these words shake the roots of what we think ourselves to be sometimes.

Land, trees, rocks, and the animals all have a voice of their own. When we stop and can open to such a natural relationships, connection and at times correction can occur.

Places, spaces have a voice and Weaselskin is no different, if anything this sacred place on the rim of Durango has a very healthy voice, a very clear voice. Protected and passed by over the years with minimal disruption from its care takers over the last 1000 years.

In our modern world the feeling of discontent, and disconnection seems to be widespread. Yet the voices of the trees still speak still see and never cease.

Through time, and held in space we can walk through the door into what is best described as coming home. We can dance with what a tree has to say to you, as well as interact with Land touching fingerprints to 1000AD in the basket maker 2 era before Chaco Canyon.

As much as a Land walk is a stroll through the woods, it is remembrance. We all come from the ground and the voices of family still speak from the wind, trees and animals, and we will see what they have to say to you.

Performing a land walk, is deeply connective, spiritual, and human. Connor will take you in to the land, speaking, guiding and interacting as what is needed is always shown. Ensuring you journey is fruitful, seeing old trees from pre history that still grow, to sacred spots, and interacting with what has come to see you within sacred Land.
